Team Prayer & Fasting: Planning for 2023
“God does nothing except in response to believing prayer” John Wesley. This is why we seriously pray and fast for the Kingdom of God to come through our work this year. We shared what we felt the Lord saying; that we are to build upon our firm foundation, being spontaneous and flowing with God’s spirit flow. We’ve decided to fast the Thursday before each Pop-Up Church. We are keen to raise up leaders and keep working to bring the Gospel to the poor in 3214 – Corio, Victoria in 2023.

Helping Boys Earn Money
Two local lads were keen to earn pocket money over the holidays so together we:
- Pruned a wattle tree at church
- Pruned the daisy bushes at church
- Tried to remove kikuyu grass from a neighbours yard
- Helped some church folks move house
It was hard work in hot weather, but its good to help the local lads learn to work for money.
Spontaneous Worship at Labuan Square
Our dear missionary friend Lynn Johnson from Cambodia was in town for a short time, so we arranged a quick public worship time. Several locals drank in the positive, loving offering then the heavens opened and we were spectacularly rained out! The whole place flooded, but we were certain God’s mysterious purposes were achieved.
Play Group is on hold for now
Although we love this ministry, it seems it is time to stop as numbers have declined significantly. This means we are now free to focus on other more profitable things. I’m sure God has more fruitful endeavours for us to focus on this year. Watch this space.
