March 2023

Pop Up Church

We had about 70 people with 6 evangelists speaking in March. The Lord somehow arranged that we’d focus on the need for water baptism! There was so much love and prayer and friendship. We are praying for a pastor now to nurture those who are ready to be discipled.

Random Meetings – “God-Incidences”

Some of the most powerful things this month were seemingly random meetings which had the signature of God. A new evangelist who’s joined our team called asking to gather in prayer. I took him to Richard’s house and he also brought another pastor who wants to do evangelism and we had a spontaneous meeting, sharing and worshiping. And they’re all coming to a new ministry starting next week – the Bus Stop Ministry – watch this space.

Big Changes

In March we were accepted into the family of CCCVaT , who own Corio Christian Centre, and Angus has stepped down from being Assistant Pastor at Bethel Christian Fellowship. It seems God wants us to grow our own evangelism ministry with the support of the Brethren Church. Here’s the announcement at Bethel Church.

Our Announcement

God is Super-Charging us!

As we’ve decided to incorporate Little Miracles Community and to focus fully on growing in God’s vision, He seems to be accelerating the goodness! Christine arranged for us to visit MADCOW in Bendigo. The CEO, Matt Parkinson, gave us so much time and it was so inspiring to see a Christian Community Centre based on serving the poor. We have seen so many signs from God that encourage us to keep loving the locals in Jesus name and confirmations around developing Christian Community Centre at Corio Christian Centre and serving the poor. There was a lot of background work in March for the season ahead.

Camping to Rest & Refocus

We managed to get away for a camping trip in March to rest and refocus and the Lord spoke to us confirming the vision ahead. It has been a huge month stepping down from leadership at Bethel and being accepted into the family at CCCVaT. So much learning and challenge ahead. We are really stepping up now to a new level. It is quite daunting but I’m sure it’s God’ way for us and that it will be super-fruitful. I’m grateful for the years at Bethel helping Paul Hills; being apprenticed to him, really. I’m also thrilled that I have known the guys at CCCVaT for a few years and they are of the highest calibre, so the future looks bright. Please pray as God does nothing except in answer to believing prayer!
