Holiday Program Collaboration
Praise God for our awesome collaboration with Prison Fellowship! We’re teaming up to host a pirate themed free dinner, dress ups, games, challenges and searching for the real treasure, the pearl of great price. Several families connected to Prison Fellowship are also families connected to Little Miracles so we’re thrilled with what God is going to do with us all at Corio Christian Centre next Tuesday evening.
Strong, Consistent Discipling
We are so grateful to God and our prayer team for the strong attendance in Term 2, with 1290 visits. Over three years families have been learning more and more about Jesus and we are seeing them grow in hunger for the Word each day. New children keep arriving being brought in by their friends. We are learning their names and seeing the children become more confident to play in the warmth and safety of Bus Stop Cafe. Please praise God in advance for the provision of $10,000 to build a new deck and shade sail so families can play more safely in our space.

NEWS! NEWS! Diane Spicer’s directorship role on the board of LMC has come to an end. She has been part of it right from the outset. In fact, she helped confirm the whole idea of LMC at 156 Purnell Rd – being a place of peace and hope where families and children can come and enjoy being loved and served in many different ways.
When we first met her, we learnt about her love for God and desire for his kingdom to expand…like a fishing net being thrown widely to catch people who are lost, just as we are doing at Bus Stop Cafe. She has encouraged us in getting started, not to be discouraged and to stay focused. She has prayed over us, blessed us and been a supportive friend at hard times. Through her we have met many amazing people and appreciate her friendship, but we will greatly miss her regular input to the board meetings. Please pray for her as she seeks whatever else God has for her.
Please pray for LMC as we need more people on the board…maybe its you? Now that we are no longer a “start up” but are an ongoing concern. We need a few more people on the board to help steer us in the way God would have us go. The board meetings are on-line; we need experienced board members to guide us to tread carefully around the red-tape that arises; we need people who have administrative giftings to help us with the admin tasks; we need people whom can help source grants and funding opportunities… can you help us? Please pray for us.
Our Short Break in Indonesia
We took a week in Flores, Indonesia to relax and explore. Christine accidentally broke three bones in her foot by falling into a hole in the footpath. The health care was amazing and we still toured around a bit on a rented scooter.
